Christopher Nolan could quit working with Warner Bros

Just when Christopher Nolan announces that he is leaving Warner Bros, a report has come out that reveals the bad data at the Tenet box office.

Christopher Nolan He is one of the best directors today and has many blockbusters such as The dark knight (2008), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Interstellar (214) and Origin (2010). But he also always tries to use traditional effects causing his budgets to skyrocket and until now it has always been profitable to grant him all his whims. But Tenet It did not meet expectations at the box office and generated 50 million in losses.

This report can be read right after Christopher Nolan announce that he is leaving Warner Bros, a film studio he had worked with for many years, for Universal Pictures to make his new movie about the creation of the atomic bomb. Tenet It premiered at the end of summer 2020 and with a budget of 200 million it raised more than 363 million. The executives blamed the director for demanding the premiere on those dates, especially knowing that there were many films that changed from 2020 to 2021. As for example James Bond: No Time to Die, Black widow and The Eternals. So the relationship between them was bound to break.

What will the new movie be about?

Christopher Nolan is preparing a new story set in WWII just like Dunkerque (2017), but this time they will focus on the creation of the atomic bomb. So the protagonist will be J. Robert Oppenheimer, a theoretical physicist who participated in the Manhattan Project culminating in the creation of weapons of a destructive power that had never been seen before. After the death toll in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, he said that: “Now I have become death, the destroyer of worlds”. So after those events, he fought for governments around the world to sign atomic non-aggression pacts.
