Vegannection, the world’s very first vegan prepaid virtual card, is finally available in London, UK.

The vegan prepaid card can be used via any smartphone, which makes it environmentally friendly as it is only virtual instead of being made of plastic.

It can only be used exclusively in 100% vegan establishments in London.

“No need for carrying your wallet or cash any more,” said the Vegannection team on their website.

“Vegannection card is on your Smartphone so you always have it with you.”

Vegannection aims to help vegans save money by giving 2% back every time they pay using the card.

Users can also connect with friends for more benefits such as getting 0.5% of a friend’s purchase if they use their Vegannection card.

The virtual card can be used or reloaded in all Vegannection partners, which are listed on the website.

It can only be used in London for now, but the Vegannection team promises that the card will eventually be released in other UK locations and even in other parts of Europe.

“In a few months, we will announce our partners from other parts of UK and Europe,” a spokesperson for the Vegannection team said in a statement.

“After that, we are going to start with other continents.”

Vegannection is expected to arrive next in US, Canada, France, Germany, Belgium, Peru, Portugal, Mexico, Austria, Brazil, and Hong Kong.
