Luxury cruise line Oceania Cruises, which is known for providing a large selection of vegan options, has added a new selection of vegan options to its menu.
The menu features cuisines that include Thai, Middle Eastern, Greek, Mexican, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Italian and more.
Oceania will offer everything from salads and soups to Power Bowls, pastas, Impossible Cheeseburger, Apple-Oatmeal Crumble, Green Curry Stir Fry with Eggplant, and Falafel Fritters with plant-based Harissa Mayo.
Dessert options include Plant-based Vanilla Mango Ice Cup, Crispy Granola; Vodka-Marinated Strawberries Romanoff with plant-based Vanilla Ice Cream; Summer Berry Pudding Chantilly; and Shortbread with plant-based Orange Cream Cheese and Raspberries.
There are also plant-based breakfast options, featuring items like Banana-Oatmeal Pancakes with Berries and Maple Syrup; Green Apple Müesli with Pistachios, Pecans, and Yellow Raisins; and Avocado Toast on Rustic Farmers Bread.
“These new plant-based options are flavorful, colorful, bold, and creative. Our hallmark finest cuisine at sea now provides an innovative and appealing menu of choices that reflects our guests’ evolving palates and heightened focus on wellness while balancing our more decadent and extravagant dishes,” said Bob Binder, President & CEO of Oceania Cruises.
The vegan options will be served at The Grand Dining Room and Terrace Café, as well as in each of the specialty restaurants in sea.
Oceania has been considered one of the most vegan-friendly cruise lines for years now, after introducing what is considered by Forbes to be “the most expansive vegan menu offerings at sea.”
However, a number of different cruise lines are serving vegan food as demand for healthy plant foods continues to rise.
Low-cost cruise line Bahamas Paradise also introduced a vegan menu in February.
Those interested in a fully vegan travel experience can take a vegan cruise, which features completely vegan meals, cocktails and even toiletries.
