Actress Krysten Ritter played Jessica Jones on the Netflix series and is now talking about the possibility of returning to the character in the Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe.
A few years ago Netflix reached an agreement to create a micro-universe with heroes like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage, they had their solo series and then reunited in The Defenders. Now, it seems they want to get those characters back with the original actors and Charlie Cox could be in the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), but it has also been rumored that Krysten Ritter will repeat as Jessica Jones.
In a recent interview, the actress Krysten Ritter was anxious to be able to repeat the character of Jessica Jones:
“I would absolutely die to play Jessica Jones again. I had a great time doing it and I love her so much. I am very proud of that character. Not just because it was like a great role and she is so bad… so tough. But that character has really resonated with people in a way that I don’t know who else has. It really, really resonates with women and girls, trauma survivors. It is so, so big and I am so grateful to have been a part of it. So if I ever get a chance to wear those boots, I’ll be there in a heartbeat. “
The actress continues her film career.
Aside from that Marvel Studios call one more time to Krysten Ritter to play Jessica Jones, we can see it in the series The Coldest Case, where homicide detective Billy Harney sends his new partner, Kate, to infiltrate a notorious Chicago drug ring. He will also star Nightbooks, a story where a boy obsessed with scary stories is imprisoned by an evil young witch in his New York City apartment.
