Reality TV star Kim Kardashian revealed that she follows a vegan diet at home.
Kardashian, known for her family’s reality TV show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” shared the news to her 136 Instagram followers via Instagram story.
Her Instagram stories featured a smoothie bowl as well as sweet potato with avocado, with the caption: “I am eating all plant-based when I am home.”
Kardashian never hinted on going vegan or becoming fully cruelty-free but announced last year that vegan fur is her “new thing.”
She also shared images of fashion giant Givenchy’s faux fur coat on her Instagram stories, with a note from Givenchy’s Communications Director Youssef Marquis accompanying the gift, saying: “My sweet Kim. A little treat for the summer… or the winter. Love ya! PS: It’s all FAKE!”
Aside from Kardashian, it seems Kendall Jenner is also moving toward becoming cruelty-free as she launched a vegan toothpaste and oral care line.
Jenner collaborated with Moon Oral Care to launched the 100% vegan, PETA approved, and cruelty-free oral care products that “people would actually be proud to show off to others.”
The oral care line, which is free from parabens, includes natural ingredients and antioxidants such as black tea and cranberry extract, sea salt, ginseng, echinacea, and coconut oil for plaque reduction.
It features fluoride-free, Stain Removal Whitening Toothpaste, which the company claims to provide “instant” whitening and brightening effects on the teeth over time.
It also includes the Kendall Jenner Teeth Whitening Pen with vanilla mint flavor, an on-the-go whitening pen made with lavender oil and strawberry extract for a whitening effect.
The vegan oral line ranges from $3.99 for floss up to $19.99 for the whitening pen. It is now available on moonoralcare.com.
