Swedish furniture retail company IKEA launched vegan oat milk for coffee and vegan butter as the vegan movement rises around the world.

The new vegan oat milk and vegan butter roll, made by organic plant-based food brand Naturli’ Foods, are now available in its Denmark locations.

The vegan butter is made with a mixture of organic almonds, coconut, shea, and rapeseed oil and melts just like any butter.

Now IKEA Denmark lets you enjoy your coffee and bread roll just the way you love it – with Naturli Organic Spreadable and Naturli’ Organic Oat Drink in portion sizes. And we promise… They are easy to assemble,” Naturli’ Foods said in a statement.

IKEA has entered the plant-based market due to the growing demand for vegan options. It has also been toward eco-friendly packaging and becoming more conscious regarding its energy use.

This year, the furniture giant launched vegan strawberry soft-serve ice cream in order tor provide a “healthier” and more sustainable option to consumers.

The new vegan ice cream is made with strawberry puree and has almost half the carbon footprint of dairy used in most ice cream, which makes it good not only for the health but also for the environment.

IKEA promises to make other vegan soft-serve versions, which might be based on oats or soy.

In India, IKEA started selling its vegetarian biryani again after a 5-month gap.

The improved version of the vegetarian biryani is now made in-house but with the same price (Rs 99).
