Director of The Book of Boba Fett assures that “it will leave you speechless”

Renowned filmmaker Robert Rodríguez was chosen to direct the next series in the Star Wars universe, The Book of Boba Fett. These were the revelations of it.

Robert Rodriguez painted back in the 90’s as one of the promises of the direction in Hollywood. Several times the Texan’s style was compared to that of his colleague Quentin Tarantino, who actually collaborated in Kill Bill vol. 2. Little by little, his own brand was entering the industry. Among other things, he is known for his versatility, since he has directed since children’s films such as Spy Kids even dark classics like Sin City. Now, Lucasfilm selected it to do the same with The Book of Boba Fett, next universe series Star Wars.

However, the filmmaker already entered the galactic school in The Mandalorian, where he had the opportunity to direct episodes and contribute to the script. In a matter of months, its first 100% own product will be seen, so all eyes of the company will be on it.

Without much pressure and with much expectation, the writer gave his statements about what to expect with the show. These were the developer’s promising words:

“[Yo] I can’t say anything about it at the moment, but it’s coming out in December… Wait till you see what’s coming. It will blow your mind. This is all I can say. I can talk all I want, because I know he overdoes it. It is a form of excessive delivery. People will be very excited when they see it “, he asserted.

Technology and technicalities

On the other hand, the creative referred to the immersive volume technology that was also used in The Mandalorian, which allows the actors to see the environment that will be seen in the finished product, not having to work with an empty green screen, which has been traumatic for many artists.

However, Rodríguez explained why he would use this in a series and not in a film.

“At first I thought maybe it made more sense for a series because you could have a lot of things that you could reuse and places that you can go back to often that would be impossible to get to on a regular basis in a series. I don’t know if I would use it a lot in a movie where only unique scenes are done. They only last a couple of minutes and you never go back there. Like in a sequel to ‘We can be heroes’, even I was thinking’ Would I use the volume? Or would you go back to photographing a traditional green screen? Because I have some very interesting things “, he concluded.
