Chuck Schumer’s father, Abe, dies in Long Island hospital at age 98

Sen. Chuck Schumer’s ailing father, Abe Schumer, died in a Lengthy Island hospital Wednesday at age 98.

Schumer instructed reporters this week his father had been within the hospital after a current process for coronary heart issues. A spokesman confirmed that Abe Schumer died at Lengthy Island Jewish Medical Middle.

“In so some ways, he personified the best technology,” Schumer mentioned in an announcement Wednesday.
